Ulta & Sephora Haul!

Hey guys, I thought I would do a haul for you today! 🙂 I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love seeing hauls!! I enjoy seeing things that other beauty & fashion people pick up and decide if I would like to purchase it too. My wallet usually doesn’t like them though as I always tend to find at least one thing to put on my wish list! 😉 But I just received packages from Ulta & Sephora on Thursday so I took some pictures and did some swatches for you guys to see. I didn’t get a whole lot of stuff, but I’m enjoying it all so far. I will put links & prices to everything below in case you find something you just can’t live without! 🙂 I hope you enjoy this post and have a wonderful Friday! 🙂

If you enjoy buying makeup and think you would like to get anything from Ulta or Sephora, they both have card member perks. All you do is get a card number and you can always sign in with it before you make a purchase and you get points for spending money. Both places have different perks involved and you can get a lot of free stuff. I would definitely suggest checking it out if you think you would make repeat purchases from either place.

First up is what I got from Ulta. I had a 20% off purchase coupon and decided to put it to good use. 😉

I had been seeing so much hype over this Lorac Pro Palette 2 and decided this was the perfect excuse to purchase it. I have the first palette and I LOVE it and I thought I would hopefully feel the same way about this one. I have only used it twice so far, but I’m really enjoying the colors. Some of them are a little powdery and chalky, but if you tap them off of your brush before you use them then you should be fine. The colors are super pigmented and just like the last one, there are 8 matte and 8 shimmer. It’s a beautiful palette to have and if you are just starting with makeup then it could be something you would enjoy. The palette is expensive at $42, but if you look at the bigger picture you are basically getting 16 eyeshadows AND an eyeshadow primer (deluxe sample size) for hardly anything.

I also got a larger size of this Benefit Porefessional primer. I put my little sample size in my July Favorites post and I already knew I would be using it up and thought with having a coupon I might as well go ahead and get the bigger size as well. This primer is really great at making your pores look smaller and makes your makeup go on smoother as well. A LOT of people really enjoy this primer and I have to say I am now one of them. Like I said in my July Favorites post, I am not one to wear primer everyday (I usually forget), but I can tell a difference when I wear this under my makeup. It is a little pricey at $31 but you only need the absolute smallest amount and you only need to put where you have visible pores or tend to get oily, so it should last you for a long time if you get the large size.

The last thing I got was another NYX Butter Gloss to add to my collection. This one is in the color “Éclair” and it’s just a really pretty soft pink color. It would look great over a light pink or nude lipstick color or just on its own. These butter glosses are ahhhmazzzing! They are super cheap at only $4.99 a tube and there are 22 shades to choose from! They also smell like baked desserts and that’s a major plus for me! This shade makes my 4th one and I would love to try more. You should definitely check these out!

Now let’s move on to what I got at Sephora.

First up is this Becca Beach Tint in “Lychee.” While I was on vacation a couple of weeks ago I picked up the beach tint in “Guava” and really enjoyed it and thought why not try out another color. This is a nice product to have as you can use it as a cheek stain AND as a lip stain. These multipurpose products are must haves for when you are in a hurry. You can just dab some of this on your cheeks and then dab some on your lips as well for a nice color coordination and you’re good to go. This little tube is $25, but you only need a little bit and since it’s basically a 2-in-1 it’s a pretty fair price. There are 8 different shades to choose from so I’m sure you could find one you enjoy!

This next product is a repeat purchase. This is an expensive concealer at $29 a tube and honestly, I don’t feel like you get a ton of product and if you use it everyday then it runs out fairly quickly. But the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer is a cult favorite among many in the beauty community. I do like the concealer, but I would definitely use something else if I liked it better. Speaking of which, I am on the hunt for a good concealer if you have any suggestions. I use MAC Pro Longwear religiously, but I always like to have something else to dab over it too as I feel like I have super dark circles. Let me know your favorite concealer and maybe I can try it!

Last thing is this Tarte blush in “Captivating.” I love blush so much and especially colors on the peachy side. This is a gorgeous warm peach shade that looks just beautiful on the skin. I feel like it would look pretty on fair skin (used lightly), but really great on tanned skin as well. These Tarte blushes are really long lasting and there are 15 beautiful shades to choose from. These blushes are $26, BUT they are so pigmented that you only need a tiny amount so I promise you that this blush will last you a long time even if you wear it everyday.

I also got a sample of the Glam Glow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment & Clinique Smart Custom-Repair Serum. Never tried either one so I’m excited to see if I would purchase the real thing or not.

Hope you guys enjoyed this little haul. I just recently purchased some amazing jewelry pieces, so let me know if you would like a haul/mini review on those items as well! 🙂

  1. I love the NYX butter glosses also! I tried the Nars concealer and liked it but couldn’t find a shade that was really right. I’ve been using the Maybelline Fit Me which I’m liking for a drugstore concealer.

    1. I like the NARS concealer, but it’s just so darn expensive and I don’t really feel like it’s better than anything else I’ve tried. I have used the Maybelline Fit Me concealer in the past and I liked it too, just need a lighter shade as I am starting to use concealers more for highlighting purposes. I just honestly have never found a concealer for my dark circles that I truly love.. I would love to hear what has worked for you or if you come across anything good! 🙂 Thanks for reading!

    1. Do you have the first Lorac Pro Palette? If so, you would also love this one! It’s so nice to have a range of matte & shimmer colors. This one is definitely more cool toned whereas the first one is warm toned. & girl, that Tarte blush is beautiful! I hope you can pick them up soon! 🙂 Thanks for reading!

  2. The Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle concealer is my favorite concealer for dark circles! If I ever have a late night and I need to cover up some serious darkness I always reach for that one! If you can get over the weird applicator I think you will love it because it comes in not only regular concealer shades but also in a couple highlighting type shades!

  3. Great haul! My favourite concealer is the Fit Me concealer by Maybelline. It’s really creamy and easy to blend and has good coverage aswell. I’ve even seen people consoder this a dupe for the Nars Creamy Concealer. You might want to give it a go!

    1. Thanks for reading & commenting! I’ve actually tried that concealer in the past but I just stopped because the color wasn’t right anymore lol! I had seen so much hype about the NARS concealer I tried it, but it’s just too expensive for what it is! I need to pick up the Maybelline concealer in the right color & start using it again! 🙂
