Sephora, Ulta, and Drugstore Haul

You guys are probably thinking I do waaayyyyy too many hauls, but what can I say? I love to shop & I enjoy showing you guys what I got so you can get some ideas for your next shopping trip or let me know what you’ve recently bought as well. I’m really excited (as always) about the things I picked up because I’ve got some pretty awesome stuff & I finally purchased something I have been wanting for months. So I hope you guys enjoy and let me know in the comments if you have any of these products or what your favorite was! Happy Tuesday! 🙂

Basically the only thing I purchased from Sephora was the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette. I have been wanting this thing for so long & I finally just couldn’t stand it anymore. I think this palette is so gorgeous & it just has the perfect neutral shades. You have matte & shimmer which is also really nice. The palette would be perfect for creating a natural daytime look or creating a sultry smoky eye. It is pricey at $49, but you are getting 14 smaller panned eye shadows & 2 larger panned eye shadows. So even though I love the shades and the versatility, I must say that after swatching the shades I was not pleased with a lot of them. I thought the pigmentation on the lighter matte shades was lacking & the shimmer shades are very chunky & have quite a bit of fall out. I hopefully will feel differently about it once I start playing around with it. But it does smell like chocolate, so that’s definitely a plus!

I got this little pink pencil sharpener so that I could get free shipping because it was only $3, but I’m sure I’ll use it! & it’s pink, so of course I think it’s cute!

I also got the Smashbox Pore Minimizing Primer deluxe sample because I’ve really been wanting to try this and it was the perfect opportunity to do so. I’ll keep you guys posted on what I think of it!

I also got the Elizabeth & James Nirvana White Perfume sample because this is something else I’ve been wanting to try. This smells so good! If you are ever in Sephora you really need to take the time to smell this because it’s amazing! This is how Sephora describes the scent, “Elizabeth and James Nirvana White is a captivating blend of delicate peony, chic muguet, and tender musk for a feminine scent with dark sophistication.” Which I personally love the darker/warmer scents as compared to light/floral scents.

& lastly, I used 500 of my points to get this limited time Make Over Your Makeup Bag kit. It’s got a ton of samples and you also get a makeover voucher which is really cool as well.

After I purchased the Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in “Fig” and absolutely loved it I knew I needed to try another shade. I decided to get another fall shade so I picked up “Berry” and it’s gorgeous! I will definitely be getting a lot of wear out of this shade during the colder months. These are pricey at $21 a tube, but amazing nonetheless, so you should definitely check them out.

I got 3 OPI nail polishes because I was looking for a good red shade and they had a “buy 2, get 1 free” deal so I just took advantage of that. I got the shades “Red Lights Ahead…Where?” “Big Apple Red” and “Samoan Sand.” They are all really pretty shades and I can’t wait to wear them. (these were just put on sloppily & only one coat, except for the neutral shade, it’s 2 coats)

(apparently I forgot to upload my picture of just the bottle)

I also got this Essie Grow Stronger Base Coat because I never use a base coat but decided I needed to start and this one had good reviews so we’ll see what I think of it.

Then I just got this Essence lip gloss in “Fabulous Fuchsia” so I could get free shipping.. ha ha. But it is actually good to top over other lipsticks since it’s basically colorless. & it’s super cheap!

I got these 2 Maybelline lipsticks & I’m so excited to try them out. I got 1 of the Creamy Matte Lip Colors (recommended from a friend) in the shade “Divine Wine” and it’s gorgeous!! I really wanted to get “Touch of Spice” as well but I went twice and they were sold out both times, so I’m on the hunt for it! But I did also get the shade “Brazen Berry” from their Vivids Collection. I saw Casey Holmes (YouTube) wearing this paired with the Too Faced Melted Lipstick in “Fig” and it was a beautiful combination so I thought I would try it for myself! These lipsticks are really pretty & nicely pigmented as well, and the best part is that they come from the drugstore. I found these at Rite Aid for “buy one, get one 50% off” so that was a great deal as well.

So that’s all of my recent haul and I hope you guys liked it! Like I said, let me know if you’ve had your eye on any of these products or if you’d like me to review anything! 🙂

    • I have just now kind of started using Too Faced products & I had been wanting the Chocolate Bar palette for a long time.. But as I said in the post, I am actually quite disappointed with the quality & pigmentation of most of the shadows. I’m hoping once I start using it more that I’ll be happier with it. Thanks for reading! 🙂
