3 Ways to Style a Fedora

I don’t know about you guys, but I have seen A LOT of people rockin’ the hat trend this season & I am obsessed! I think wearing floppy hats or fedoras can add just a little something extra to your outfits. I love hats, but I personally don’t wear them much. I guess I feel self-conscious by wearing one, but I do love the way they look, so I’m gonna try to start wearing them more! I just bought a super cute one from Target (which is what I’m wearing in the photos) & I think I’ll get a lot of wear out of it. I have definitely been inspired by all of my lovely IG friends on styling hats, so maybe I can inspire you too. I love seeing what other people are wearing & then figuring out a way to style it so that it suits me. I’ve styled this hat to represent girly, casual, and edgy.. I hope you can find a combo you’d like to try. Enjoy!

Look #1: Girly

So my girly look is pretty simple. I just decided to go with a black skirt, tights, ankle booties, and a white graphic tee. This outfit would be perfect for shopping, dinner, movies, etc. This combo is really easy to recreate and something that is also comfortable to wear. This was probably my favorite look out of all 3 just because I like the way the hat compliments the outfit.

Look #2: Casual

My casual look is also something very simple. I just wore some black pants, black wedges, and a floral peplum top. This look is perfect for any type of occasion and if it’s chilly out, you could always pair a black sweater over the shirt and that would look great too. This hat just looks great with this outfit and it’s perfect to wear when you just want to be laid back, but still add a little oomph to your look.

Look #3: Edgy

This edgy look is something I wouldn’t wear everyday, but it’s FUN. I just went with black pants, biker boots, a gray graphic tee, and my black leather jacket. This look would be perfect for a date night or a girl’s night out. Although this look leans toward being “edgy” I think the femininity of the hat tones the edginess down a little.

Let me know in the comments which look was your favorite! Also, tell me how you like to rock your hats and maybe I can try it too! 🙂 Thanks for reading lovelies! Have an amazing Saturday!
