MAC & Ulta Haul

So I’m not sure what has been wrong with me lately, but all I’ve been buying is lip products it seems like! I used to always love buying eye shadows, but now it’s basically just lippies lol. Let me know your favorite makeup/beauty thing to buy! So this is just a super small haul, but I thought I would show you anyway.. I hadn’t bought anything from MAC in forever and I had a 20% off coupon for Ulta & I used some of my points to get a good deal. Let me know if you have any of these products or let me know what you would like to try! 🙂

MAC Cosmetics:

I bought 2 lipsticks and they are dark, vampy ones that are perfect for fall/winter. I also bought 2 lip pencils that I had seen good things about and really wanted to try. Let me know your favorite lip pencil & lipstick shade from MAC and maybe I can try them out next!

1. Diva–I’ve told you before that Wet n’ Wild “Cherry Bomb” lipstick is a dupe for this (and muuuuccchhhh cheaper), but that one is so drying on my lips that I can’t always wear it. Even though “Diva” is matte, I’m hoping the formula will go on a little smoother and not be so uncomfortable on the lips. This shade is pretty dark, but not TOO dark. Of course you can always build it up or sheer it out to make you feel comfortable wearing it. MAC describes this shade as an “intense reddish-burgundy” and I would definitely agree with that. It’s a gorgeous shade that I’m excited to wear. Purchase here ($16.00)

2. Cyber–MAC describes this as an “intense blackish-purple” and I’ll have to say it’s pretty dark. I would not normally buy or wear a color like this, but I Googled a few pictures of people wearing this and I thought it looked stunning. I probably will never build this shade up to be super opaque, but I’m excited to step out of my comfort zone a little and wear this. Purchase here ($16.00)

3. Lip Pencils in Spice & Nightmoth–Spice is just a really nice, neutral shade that would look great under any lipstick shade. Nightmoth is super dark & vampy. It would look great paired up with either of the lipsticks I bought OR just worn on its own for a super matte look. Purchase here ($16.00 each)

Ulta Beauty:

1. Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge–I have 3 of these, but I decided to get another one so I can clean them not as often. :O These sponges are great dupes for the beautyblender if you don’t want to spend the money on one of those. I pretty much always apply my makeup with a sponge so these are handy to have & super affordable which is a major plus. The only thing I will say in comparison to the beautyblender is that these don’t seem to last quite as long as the beautyblender. These have ripped after a month’s use whereas my beautyblender lasted perfectly for months. But still, you are paying almost 4 times less so there’s no reason to complain. 🙂 Purchase here ($5.99)

2. Maybelline Creamy Matte Lip Color in “Craving Coral” & “Touch of Spice”–I picked up 2 more of these after I loved “Divine Wine” so much. I had been searching for “Touch of Spice” for quite a while and it was finally in stock so I knew I had to grab it. These lipsticks are really great.. Super pigmented & not too drying even though they are matte. My lips are super dry and these don’t make them feel any worse, which is a must for me. They are really awesome lipsticks for a great price.. You definitely need to try them if you haven’t yet. Also, you can usually catch them at one of the drugstores for “buy one, get one 50% off” (which is what I did) and it’s an even better deal. Purchase here ($7.99)

3. Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow in “Light/Medium”–I was running out of my other tube of this so I decided to go ahead and pick another one up. I really like this stuff for when I don’t take the time to completely fill in my brows, it just helps them to look natural & more groomed. Even though my hair is probably dark enough for “Medium/Dark” I decided to get the lighter shade just because I don’t think my brows look great being super dark. This is a great product to try if you aren’t too experienced with your brows.. It takes the guesswork out of filling them in. Purchase here ($22.00)

4. bareMinerals Original Foundation SPF 15–I have one of these foundations in the shade “light” but it’s too dark for me for whatever reason, so I picked up the shade “fairly light” and I hope it will work for me. I don’t usually go for powder foundations because my skin is SUPER DRY, but I love the way this looks on the skin. I love foundations that are really light & natural. I don’t like to feel a mask of foundation and this never feels that way. It’s pricey, but totally worth it because it lasts forever! I definitely recommend this (& there’s a matte powder version as well just in case you have oily skin). Purchase here ($27.00)

If you’ve done a recent haul link it in the comments so I can check it out! 🙂
